The 37-year-old company strengthens its position as an engineering firm already operating in the Italian market and accelerates its commitment to specialised local talent.
Milan, April 2026 – ARRAM Consultores, a Spanish engineering and consultancy firm with more than three decades of experience, around 100 professionals, and offices in Madrid, Badajoz, Seville, and Mexico, is strengthening its international strategy with the opening of its subsidiary in Italy. The new office, located in the Isola district of Milan, will enable the company to consolidate its operations in the country and offer a local response capacity aligned with the growing demand for energy and industrial projects.
This opening is the natural evolution of the activity ARRAM Consultores has already been developing in Italy in recent years, where it has worked alongside local partners and clients in the energy sector (developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, investment funds, etc.). With this new structure, the company combines the technical expertise of an international group with the proximity of a local team, adapted to Italian regulations and market conditions.
Global capability with local execution
The subsidiary will be led by Ángel Luis Arce Carrasco, who will act as the link between the international structure and operational development in Italy.
The initial team is structured around a specialised technical unit with local civil and electrical engineering experts, supported by new hires and the Business Development department. This structure is also part of ARRAM Consultores’ global platform of approximately 100 professionals in Spain, enabling the company to offer services in engineering, energy, environment, digitalisation, R&D&I, and support cross-functional departments.
Italy, a strategic market for growth
The commitment to Italy reflects the country’s central role in the European context of decarbonisation and industrial modernisation.
“Our arrival in Milan is the natural next step in the growth of our business in Italy. We are consolidating our presence to be closer to our clients and to lead high-value projects in this strategic market” said Ángel Bernáldez, Director of the Energy Unit at ARRAM Consultores.
Italy is increasingly positioned as a key growth hub for southern Europe, where the company aims to replicate the successful model it has developed in Spain, adapting it to the distinctive features of the local market.
End-to-end (E2E) engineering for energy projects
From Milan, ARRAM Consultores will provide engineering services across all project phases: from greenfield site assessment through to obtaining Ready to Build (RTB), detailed engineering, and commissioning.
Its offering also includes EPC selection support, equipment procurement advisory services, and Owner’s Engineering, enabling clients to benefit from end-to-end (E2E) project lifecycle support focused on efficiency and optimisation.
Local talent at the heart of the project
The opening of the subsidiary also represents a strong commitment to building a highly skilled local team.
“We are creating a high-performance local team that combines ARRAM Consultores’ methodology with in-depth market knowledge, ensuring a direct impact on every project” said Ángel Luis Arce Carrasco.
“Our priority in Italy is to become the trusted partner that reduces technical uncertainty; we bring the strength of our global track record so that our local clients only have to worry about growing their business”, added David Dols, Development Manager.
The company plans to double the size of its Italian team over the next two years, intending to establish a local presence capable of meeting increasing market demand.
