TANY NATURE. An agri-industrial group specialized in stone fruit, integrating the entire value chain of the product in its operations, from nursery plant production to fruit marketing.
Tany Nature’s fruit and vegetable processing plant is equipped with advanced technology, offering a consistent packing capacity of 800 tons per day from April to November. From these facilities, they export to over thirty countries across four continents, ensuring optimal product freshness at all times.
Extremadura is one of the most dynamic regions in terms of stone fruit production and marketing. While in the 1990s most of its farmland was dedicated to pears, today this crop has nearly disappeared due to a continuous varietal shift toward stone fruits.
Thus, plum, nectarine, and peach are the main stone fruits in the region. However, the latter — peach — is currently seeing a slight decline in favor of the first two. According to Atanasio Naranjo, manager of Tany Nature, this is because “the fruit production and marketing sector in Extremadura is focusing on early-season crops where the quality is exceptional, and reducing those with higher competition, such as peach.”
